Wath Onger Safe Water Enterprise

The Wath Onger Safe Water Enterprise was established in 2016 with support from Siemens Stiftung. The project is located in Migori county between coordinates Latitude 0°56’55.98″S longitude 34°12’6.83″E and latitude 0°57’30.74″S longitude 34°13’0.25″E.         

Project components:

1. Solar water pumping system of 4,000L/hr capacity.
2. Pumping line made of DN 40 PN 16 HDPE pipes of approximately 320m long
3. Three (3Nr) sky hydrant ultrafiltration units with a cumulative filtration capacity of 3,000l/hr.
4. Raw water storage tanks (1m3 and 10m3) on separate towers
5. Clean drinking water storage tanks (1m3 and 5m3) on separate towers
6. Water kiosks complete with water kiosk ATM
