We support community-managed schemes to transition to Water User Associations (WUAs) and develop their capacities on governance, operations, and commercial performance. We build the WUA board’s capacity to provide oversight and to establish professional management teams in charge of the day-to-day operations of the water supply systems. Under this model, we actively monitor and provide technical support on governance, financial management, and water system operations and performance.

We partner with counties through a Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) approach to offer professional operation and management services through such management agreements as Private Operator Model, Lease Operator Model and Build-Operate-Transfer Model.
