Kajiado County Signs MoUs to Strengthen Water Service Delivery and Partnerships

Introduction

Today, the Department of Water Services, led by the CECM for Water, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Madam Judy Neiyeiyo Pere,together with the Chief Officer for Water Services, Mr. Jacob Sampeke, formally signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Rural Water Management Solutions.
The ceremony was also attended by the County Attorney, Mr. Augustine Sekeyian, providing legal oversight and reinforcing the institutional framework supporting the agreements.
These MoUs represent a key milestone in advancing strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing access to safe, reliable, and sustainable water services across Kajiado County. Through these collaborations, the County Government will leverage technical expertise, innovative solutions, and resource mobilization to strengthen water infrastructure development, improve service delivery, and build community resilience.
This initiative reaffirms the County Government’s commitment to working closely with development partners and stakeholders to ensure equitable access to quality water and sanitation services for all residents.
The County looks forward to the effective implementation of these agreements and the resulting positive impact on communities across Kajiado County.
